After a construction accident left him with a chronic, painful condition known as ankylosing spondylitis, a degenerative form of spinal arthritis, Peter Winslow struggled for many years with depression, addiction, and chronic pain. His doctors advised him to avoid exertion and take pain medications to manage the pain, and for a while this seemed a workable solution. However, he soon became dissatisfied and searched for a means of living his life on his own terms. In his seemingly endless battles against bad habits, pain, and mental illness, Peter Winslow discovered that his most powerful weapon was inner-purpose. After finally overcome innumerable obstacles, he began to offer guidance to others facing similar as well as other challenges, speeding their passage as a life coach.
Aside from Mr. Winslow’s experience in clinical hypnotherapy and behavior modification, he has extensive experience in a number of other fields such as psychoneuroimmunology, Ortho-Bionomy, myotherapy, and nutritional science. Since 1998 Peter Winslow has served as CEO and a transformational life coach at Gold Mind, a Scottsdale Arizona-based organization. He is also a member of the Ankylosing Spondylitis Victors Association, a consortium of people in remission from the chronic disease. |
